Ketchikan Pride Alliance Committees
Joining a KPA committee is a great way to get directly involved with the work of the Pride Alliance! Help us on our mission to provide education, support, and aid to the local lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, two spirit and queer community (LGBTQIA2S+) and their allies.
The Ketchikan Queer Collective
The Ketchikan Queer Collective (despite it’s name) is open to anyone living in Southeast Alaska. The Collective works to create and publish the quarterly zine Loud and Queer!
Loud and Queer! features visual art, articles, and resources. The zine seeks to connects LGBTQIA2S+ people of Southeast Alaska to inform, inspire, and build community. This publication tells our stories by and for each other.
We are looking for people to join the Ketchikan Queer Collective and help us collect art, write educational pieces for the zine, fundraise, and ensure that the zine reaches libraries and other community spaces across Southeast Alaska.
Event Committee
As we expand, we are in need of people who want to help with events - everything from planning Pride Month and our monthly events, to purchasing supplies, advertising, and helping out at the events!
Whether you want to help plan all the details of an event or just show up and volunteer at an event for an hour, join our logistics committee to help us create successful, fun events and activities for the community.

Grants Committee
As KPA continues to expand, grant funding has become a vital piece in ensuring we are able to fund our activities and provide more comprehensive services to the community.
Join the grant committee to help us identify potential funding sources, write grant applications, develop programs, build our budgets, and create reports on our activities for our funders. While maybe not the most exciting part of the Pride Alliance, the grant committee is vital in ensuring we have funds for our activities.

Education Committee
Education is key to creating a safer, more inclusive community for all. We offer on demand LGBTQIA2S+ overview trainings for any organization upon request.
